Acrylic and fiberglass should be cleaned regularly to avoid build-up that can make cleaning difficult. Always rinse your tub before cleaning to remove any particles or grit to avoid scratching the finish. Use a non-abrasive cleaner and read the label to ensure it is safe for acrylic or fiberglass. Always use a soft rag to clean the fixture and rinse well. If there is build-up it may take several applications to clean the fixture, avoid scrubbing to preserve the finish.
